A Letter From Our Founder

As a career Firefighter/Paramedic and certified Flight Paramedic with 10 years of public safety experience, I have become passionate about the care our customers receive at assisted-living and related facilities. I believe that consumers of in-home care, independent-living, assisted-living and skilled-nursing facilities have the right to immediate resuscitation. Based on my experience and that of my colleagues resuscitation of any kind is rarely performed prior to our arrival in acute medical emergencies at these facilities.  With consideration of The American Heart Association’s Chain of Survival this is not acceptable. We seek change requiring these facilities to provide immediate on-sight BLS/AED resuscitation. In order to best advocate for best-practice care in local communities the RightCare Foundation, Inc., an Arizona non-profit corporation, was founded. The RightCare Foundation has developed a number of evaluation tools to empower consumers as they choose care providers. There is no cost for the use of our consumer evaluation tools. We encourage consumers to use these tools as a guide to ensure that they and their loved-ones receive the highest quality care possible and the greatest value for their investment. As our mission states, “RightCare believes in a world that is accountable, responsible and obligated to provide the highest quality care for those in need,” we exist to continually improve the care we all receive.
